"Stories are for joining the past to the future. Stories are for those late hours in the night when you can't remember how you got from where you were to where you are. Stories are for eternity, when memory is erased, when there is nothing to remember except the story." - Tim O'Brien
Alexis is passionate about storytelling and connecting with the diverse audiences that make up Thurston County. She is responsible for publishing articles on the SPSCC website as well as the college's social media presence. When she's not typing up another story or filming a reel for the college's Instagram, Alexis is meeting with various departments throughout the campus and learning how to better serve students.
In her free time, Alexis enjoys writing fiction, reading a variety of genres, and visiting local cafes.
