As a former Student Ambassador, Diversity & Equity Senator, Start Here Specialist, and proud alumna, South Puget Sound Community College truly became my second home.
When I first started, I was a timid high school graduate stepping onto a college campus for the first time. I remember the days of needing a map just to find class, wandering into campus events by pure chance, and dodging eye contact in the hallways. But everything changed the moment I stepped into leadership. Getting involved unlocked a deeper sense of community and purpose that I never anticipated.
I initially thought SPSCC would just be a stepping stone before transferring to a university. Instead, I spent over 7 transformative years right here—and I wouldn’t trade that journey for anything. Today, I am proud to be a Clipper, dedicated to helping make our campus a place where every student belongs and thrives.
