My goal is to help students achieve their academic and professional dreams. Drawing from my experience as a first-generation student, I empathize with their challenges and am committed to providing personalized support. My student-centered, holistic approach aims to empower students with the tools and confidence they need to succeed.

As an Educational and Career Planner at South Puget Sound Community College, I guide students towards their academic and professional goals with experience and passion. I hold a BA in Biology from Concordia University and an MA in Education from the University of Redlands.

My career has included roles as an Educational Associate at the Aquarium of the Pacific and a high school science teacher at San Jacinto High School. These experiences have deepened my commitment to empowering students in the life sciences and education.

Beyond work, I enjoy nerdy activities like building with Legos, playing Magic the Gathering, gaming, and reading DC and Marvel comics. I also love the outdoors, including backpacking, biking, and gardening. Originally from Southern California, I now embrace the Pacific Northwest with my wife Emily and our two golden retrievers, OG and PD.
