As Open Education Librarian, I collaborate with the SPSCC community to increase student success through Open Education. Open Education is a global educational movement that has been going for over twenty years. This movement involves faculty and their students using or creating freely available, openly-licensed, high-quality educational resources, known as OER (open educational resources) in order to bring textbook costs down for students.
