Sarah Clarke

Proud member of the SPSCC family since 2013, Sarah worked in both Facilities and the College Foundation, transitioning to the Advising team in November 2017. Originally from Pennsylvania, curiosity and friendship led her to Olympia to take a job in environmental education and eventually earn a Masters of Environmental Studies at The Evergreen State College, where she conducted research on the rehabilitative potential of science and sustainability education in prisons. Over time, Sarah discovered that she thrives on helping students gain access to opportunity and their own strengths through college education. 

Sarah enjoys dancing, gardening, wildcrafting, knitting and spending time with family, friends and fur-babies. She volunteers her time as a certified mediator with the Dispute Resolution Center of Thurston County.
