I welcome each student as an individual with unique interests, life circumstances and talents. My goal is to help the student discover which path is the right fit for them and give them the tools and support that set them up for success.

Proud member of the SPSCC family since 2013, Sarah worked in both Facilities and the College Foundation, transitioning to the Advising team in November 2017. Originally from Pennsylvania, curiosity and friendship led her to Olympia to take a job in environmental education and eventually earn a Masters of Environmental Studies at The Evergreen State College, where she conducted research on the rehabilitative potential of science and sustainability education in prisons. Over time, Sarah has discovered that she thrives on the synergy that occurs between mentors and students, and loves celebrating the successes that occur along the way. She is enthused to marry her skills and passions in the Advising profession.

Sarah loves a good laugh and enjoys the upkeep of a spiritual, mental and physical  lifestyle, including meditation, knitting, dancing, hiking and volunteering with family and friends.
